Wednesday with Bernard Ferguson
Meet The Instructor
Bernard Ferguson attained a BFA through the University of MB and has been a Ceramic artist for the last 12 years. Working mostly as a production potter on the wheel, he also makes unique sculptural planter pieces to meld with his love for plants, gardening and animals.
Bernard teaches pottery from a mindfulness/approach and sees Pottery as a meditative medium. Students learn to make functional wares in his classes mainly though wheel throwing techniques.
Bernard sells his work through several shops in Winnipeg and in open studio events. He is also an Art Coordinator that works with youth/adults and local artists.
A little clay moves the mind in big ways.
