Meet The Instructor

Janelle Janz

Janelle Janz is an interdisciplinary artist with a focus in ceramics. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Honours Studio Degree at the University of Manitoba and has since been working as an Artist, Visual Instructor and Ceramic Technician.

Janz creates functional and sculptural work to consider how ceramic objects generate an interactive space. She views art as a vital process to engage with our surroundings as well as one another. Students are introduced to wheel throwing and hand building techniques to learn a range of ceramic methods in her classes.

Wednesday: 6PM – 9PM

Class Duration: 8 weeks

A non-refundable deposit of $140 for each participant must be received upon registration to reserve your spot. The remaining class fee of $155 can be paid the first day of class. Clay, tools, firings and glazes included. See below for payment options.

Because of COVID-19, we are restricting our number of registrations to 6 students per class. Register now to reserve your spot. Classes run for a duration of 6 weeks. Masks are highly recommended.
