Alana Macdougall

Alana Macdougall

Alana focuses on ceramics in both her functional and sculptural creative practices and is passionate about exploring the limits of what the material can do. She has been an instructor and mentor in the arts across multiple diverse communities. Alana believes that the making and use of functional ceramics can enrich our daily rituals and make coming together for food and drink more special.

Alana holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Fine Art from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn New York. She currently teaches at the University of Manitoba and her ceramic and drawing work has been exhibited internationally.

Spring Session

Thursday: 6:30PM – 9:30PM
Registration: $295
Classes Begin: May 11th, 2023
Class Duration: 8 weeks

A non-refundable deposit of $140 for each participant must be received upon registration to reserve your spot. The remaining class fee of $155 can be paid the first day of class. Clay, tools, firings and glazes included. See below for payment options.

Because of COVID-19, we are restricting our number of registrations to 6 students per class. Register now to reserve your spot. Classes run for a duration of 8 weeks. Masks are highly recommended.
